“Middle Bite” Cinnamon Rolls

Okay.. I’ve never had a more requested recipe than the cinnamon roll hack I posted to my instagram! Let me tell you.. they’re insane. Like unreal. Extremely unhealthy, so don’t even hope. Ooey Gooey goodness.. and these hacks make every bite delicious. You know how everyone goes for the center cinnamon rolls and avoids the dry, bread-y outside parts? Yeah.. not with this hack. Every bite will taste like the center! That’s why I decided to name these “Middle Bite” Cinnamon Rolls. And they’re SO EASY! You probably have most of the ingredients already. Ready to FLOOR your friends with minimal effort? Let’s do this.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls (I get the Pillsbury Grands, Cream Cheese) Make sure they’re the large cinnamon rolls! Not the small.

  • 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream

  • 3 tablespoons of butter

  • 1/2 tablespoons of cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 4 oz cream cheese

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1.5 tablespoons of whole milk

*you can totally eyeball this recipe! Since we’re using canned cinnamon rolls, the added ingredients are strictly for added taste and texture. So play around! This is just the amounts I used.*

Directions:

  • Set oven to 350

  • Fill a casserole dish with the heavy whipping cream

  • Pop that can of cinnamon rolls and lay them out over the cream! I found that these taste best when they’re packed in pretty tight. Don’t leave room between the rolls, or else the cream won’t absorb.

  • Set aside

  • Melt butter, add cinnamon and brown sugar. Pour over top of the rolls before baking.

  • I baked mine for 23 minutes, but follow the directions on the can of cinnamon rolls. If the directions give a range, stick with the lower number! (For example, “bake at 350 for 23-27 minutes” I chose 23.

  • While the rolls are in the oven, melt the cream cheese. Add milk and powdered sugar AND the 2 icing containers that the rolls came with. Mix really well.

  • Once the rolls are done cooking, pour the cream cheese icing over, almost immediately.

Omg… okay go enjoy. I couldn’t be happier for you. You’re about to have the best day ever.

Here are some photos to show the process! The first and second picture show the rolls placed directly on top of the cream. The cream is just poured and settled at the bottom. See how tightly these are packed? That’s how you want them! The third picture are what they’ll look like before baking. Fourth picture is how they’ll look coming out of the oven. Oh my Stars and Stripes, that cinnamon sugar crisp! Bottom row is the finished product, after icing! My lawwwwd.
