Country Style Green Beans
In my opinion, these green beans are better than Cracker Barrel’s.. & that says a LOT! I think I could just about make this my whole meal. I prepare these + some sort of potato as a side for meat all the time.
Here’s what you need:
4 strips of cooked bacon (crisp & drained)
2 tbsp butter
1/4 onion diced
4 cans of French style green beans
1 tomato diced
1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic minced
1 tsp sugar
1 cup chicken broth
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook bacon until crisp, drain & set aside.
In the same skillet add butter and onion. Sauté until onion is clear.
Add all the rest of the ingredients! Simmer until most of the broth has evaporated.
Chop bacon and add at the end!
